Who we are
Aura Arena is an Onads Communications product operated by the applicable Onads group entity shown in the App's Legal and Support section. In this policy, that entity is called Aura, we, us or our.
Legal operator: Onads Communications LLP.
This policy applies to players, creators, brand representatives, administrators, visitors and other people whose data is processed through Aura Arena.
What Aura Arena does
Aura Arena lets people discover challenges, record or upload attempts, receive an Aurasense score and explanation, earn Aura progression, appear on permitted leaderboards and access brand offers or rewards. The App may also include creator profiles, brand challenges, AI-assisted ad contests, follows, likes, notifications, private videos and shareable score cards.
What data we collect
- Account and authentication data such as phone number, OTP events, account ID and login history.
- Profile data such as username, profile image, age band, city or country if supplied, followers, following and public profile content.
- Camera, microphone and media data such as videos, audio, thumbnails, captions and file metadata when you record or upload.
- Challenge and scoring data such as challenge views, attempt IDs, submission time, score, explanation, result, highest score and leaderboard state.
- Device and usage data such as IP address, device model, operating system, app version, crash data, network, session and interaction events.
- Location data only as described in the App. Precise location is collected only when separately requested and permitted.
- Reward, campaign, support, report, appeal, consent, moderation, copyright and deletion records.
- Trust and security signals used to detect replay, impersonation, duplicate accounts, automated abuse, score manipulation and reward misuse.
Why we use data
- To create and secure your account and provide the features you choose.
- To record, process, score, explain, moderate, display and delete challenge content.
- To operate Aura progression, streaks, leaderboards, offers, coupons and rewards.
- To run creator and brand campaigns, including AI-ad contests and judging workflows.
- To prevent fraud, protect users, enforce the rules, investigate reports and handle appeals.
- To send service, safety and optional marketing communications according to your settings and applicable law.
- To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, resolve disputes and maintain audit records.
Leaderboard & public display
Your display name, profile picture and Aura score are shown publicly on global and challenge leaderboards to other users. This is a core feature of the app. To stop appearing, delete your account
Aurasense AI scoring
Aurasense is designed to evaluate challenge performance, such as accuracy, timing, completion, energy, similarity to a reference or another published challenge rule.
Aurasense should not score appearance, skin colour, body shape, clothing, hair, makeup, perceived attractiveness, disability or another unrelated personal trait.
An AI score is a product output. It is not a statement about your value, identity or ability outside the challenge. If you believe a score is technically wrong or unfair, use the review route shown in the App.
Face and integrity checks
Where a feature uses face presence, same-person, liveness, duplicate or related signals, the purpose is platform security, challenge integrity and reward protection, not general identity profiling.
Aura should collect the least data needed and prefer short-lived derived signals or hashes over retained face images. Any material change in purpose will be disclosed before implementation.
A feature may require a separate notice, consent or privacy assessment before it is used.
Public and private content
You may be able to mark a video or submission private, depending on the feature. Private content is not intended to be visible to other players, but may still be accessible to Aura, processors and authorised reviewers for scoring, moderation, security, support, legal compliance and storage.
Public content may appear in feeds, profiles, challenge pages, leaderboards, score cards, campaign galleries or links you share. Check the audience before publishing and obtain permission from recognisable people in your content.
Children and teenagers
Aura Arena is intended for users aged 13 and above. Under-13 access is not permitted.
Users aged 13 to 17 may use child-eligible features only after the required verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian. Some features may remain unavailable until the user turns 18.
- Aura will use proportionate age assurance and will not collect more identity information than necessary.
- Aura will not knowingly use a child's data for targeted or behavioural advertising where prohibited by law or policy.
- Aura may use private-profile defaults, restrict direct contact or discovery, suppress precise location, limit brand campaigns and disable age-restricted rewards for minors.
- A parent or guardian may use the privacy contact to request access, correction, restriction or deletion of a child's data, subject to safety and legal exceptions.
Who may receive data
- Service providers for cloud storage, video processing, AI scoring, moderation, analytics, authentication, notifications and support.
- Brands, coupon providers, fulfilment partners and campaign partners, but only the data needed for the specific offer or campaign.
- Professional advisers, auditors, insurers and security advisers under confidentiality obligations.
- Courts, regulators, police, child-protection authorities, rights holders or other lawful requestors when required or permitted.
- A successor or acquirer in a financing, merger, sale or restructuring, subject to continued privacy protection.
Cookies, SDKs and international processing
Aura may use essential storage, authentication tokens, SDKs, crash reporting, fraud-prevention signals, analytics and notification tokens. Optional analytics, personalisation and marketing technologies will provide the choices required by law.
Aura and its providers may process data in India or other countries where they operate. Aura will apply applicable transfer requirements, contracts and security controls.
Security
Aura uses safeguards proportionate to risk, including encryption, least-privilege access, secret management, audit logs, secure development, rate limiting, backups, vendor review and restricted access to private media and reward secrets.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects you, Aura will follow the legal and operational notification requirements that apply.
Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of optional consent, restriction, grievance redressal and other rights available in your jurisdiction.
Requests may require account verification. Aura may retain limited information for law, safety, fraud prevention, a reward transaction, audit or dispute defence.
Use the privacy contact shown in the App or the in-App privacy settings to make a request.
Changes and contact
Aura may update this policy when the product, law or processing changes. We will show the version and effective date in the App and provide additional notice for material changes where required.
