Our standard
Take part without threatening, exploiting, deceiving or exposing people to avoidable danger. These rules apply to videos, profiles, comments, messages, brand submissions, AI content and conduct connected to Aura Arena.
Respect people
- Do not threaten, harass, bully, shame, stalk, blackmail, intimidate or repeatedly contact someone after they ask you to stop.
- Do not target people with slurs or dehumanising attacks based on race, caste, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or another protected characteristic.
- Do not publish someone's phone number, address, school, workplace, live location, private conversation, ID document or login information without permission.
- Criticism of an idea, product or performance is allowed when it does not become targeted abuse or a credible threat.
Protect privacy and consent
- Record and upload only when you have permission from identifiable people and lawful access to the place or event.
- Do not secretly record private conversations, changing rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, medical situations, school incidents or intimate situations.
- Do not publish private or intimate images, morphed images, voice clones or deepfakes of another person without clear consent.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery and sexual exploitation of a child are emergency violations. Use the emergency route in the App.
Create safely
Do not promote or demonstrate dangerous stunts, traffic or railway activity, fire, explosives, weapons misuse, unsafe heights, choking, extreme eating, self-harm, dangerous substances, dangerous driving, trespass or animal cruelty.
A challenge must be reasonably safe for its intended audience. Challenge creators must not pressure minors to disclose private information or perform dangerous acts.
Harmful content
- Credible threats, extortion, stalking, child grooming and sexual exploitation may be removed urgently and may be reported where required.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, private-area nudity, artificial morphing and sexualised content involving a minor may be restricted or removed immediately.
- Copyright or music infringement may lead to muting, restriction, removal, rights-holder review or campaign disqualification.
- Fraud, bots, duplicate accounts, score manipulation and reward abuse may invalidate activity and freeze claims.
AI and commercial content
- Label AI-generated or materially AI-altered content when required. Do not present a synthetic person, event, quote, endorsement or result as authentic.
- Do not create a realistic face or voice of a real person without permission, or use synthetic media to deceive, defame, sexually exploit, impersonate or harm.
- Disclose paid, sponsored, gifted, affiliate or otherwise incentivised content clearly and use only approved brand assets, music, talent, claims and testimonials.
- Do not disguise a commercial relationship or manipulate a contest with purchased or coordinated engagement.
Fair play
- Use only your own performance and authorised equipment. Do not replay, splice, deepfake or submit someone else's performance as your own.
- Do not use multiple accounts, bots, scripts, stolen identities, false location or other methods to gain scores, Auras, rankings, coupons or prizes.
- Aura may reverse scores, Auras or rewards when activity is invalid or manipulated.
Report and appeal
Use the in-App report tool for a video, profile, challenge, account, reward, comment or message. Include the handle or URL, reason, timestamp and safe evidence.
For urgent risks involving a child, violence, self-harm, non-consensual intimate imagery or immediate danger, use the emergency report route shown in the App and contact local emergency services where appropriate.
Reports are triaged by severity, reach, vulnerability, legal risk and immediacy. Appeals may be made through the route shown in the enforcement notice.
Enforcement
Aura may take no action, add a label, age-restrict, limit visibility, mute, remove, correct scores or rewards, restrict features, warn, suspend or terminate an account.
Aura may limit information about detection thresholds, fraud signals, reporter identity or confidential evidence when disclosure could create safety or circumvention risk.
